This is Doodle Bug or Baby dumplin, my beautiful girl!! She loves all people and all things. She truely has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known.
My Aunt Martha is a wonderful poet and wrote this beautiful poem for my Devan.
In Tribute to Sarah Devan
What angel presided o'er thy birth
And christened thee with such beauty
As to cause the rose, in shame, to hide it's face
In envy of this one called Sarah Devan.
Begging the pardon of all who behold her,
I rightfully boast of her charms.
For God smiled down on all who would know her
Then gently released her into our arms.
Possessed of intelligence and wit so keen,
Rare in so tender an age.
A love for all creatures who dwell in her world,
A love for all things her God made.
None other can claim it, for beauty is her name,
And rightfully she doth deserve it.
None other will ever be quite as unique
As this one special gift called Sara
h
Devan.
This is Sugarbear or Little Man, my sweet boy!
He is the funniest, quirkiest little fella. He makes me laugh and laugh everyday!
Aunt martha also wrote a poem for Reid.
A Song for Reid Kenton
With dimpled cheeks and drooly kisses
and a smile that will fill you with joy,
An angel brought to us one day
This beautiful baby boy.
With Papa's face and sweet disposition
And eyes of cornflower blue,
This little man with sticky hands
will bring such love to you.
He will melt your heart with a single tear,
His giggles light up a room.
As he and sister, in their snuggy blanket
Share dreams of sweet lollies and balloons.
He'll run you ragged from morn til night
with his squeals, and pranks, and hugs.
But each night as you tuck in this dear little boy
You'll thank God for this bundle of love.
Now sleep sweet little Reid Kenton
as angels sing soft lullabies.
Mommy and Daddy will be by your side
While Jesus cradles you tight.

Your kids are so beautiful!! The poems written by Aunt Martha are real treasures---you ought to frame them or something. What a great gift!
I call Jacob Sugarbear, too! It'll be interesting to see if I call Julia the same things you call Devan.
