Beach Trip with Mimi, Maams, and Carolyn July 2006

We had a wonderful time on our trip! We dug in the sand, and swam and swam ans swam. We rode the ride at Garden City and ate hot dogs at Sam's corner (all requirements for any successful beach trip).
Maams friend Carolyn came with us and was ALOT of fun. We can't wait to see her again. This was the first time Reid acctually went into the ocean, before he has turned tail and ran anytime a wave came close to him. This time he loved jumping the waves with Devan and Mom. He even got down on his knees and let the waves wash up to his neck. Devan enjoyed digging in the sand, catching crabs and clams, and making sand castles, but her favorite thing is still the pool. To Devan there is no better place to be. Except ANY place that has animals. We did make a trip to the Zoo this time and it was a hit. Reid loved the Baboon shreiking and rattling his cage. Devan's favorite was the bunnies because she could pet them (ofcourse now this has turned into the new pet she asks why she can't have everyday).
One morning we got to see a large group of Dolphins going up the coast. Devan was jumping around and squealing!!!!
We did miss Dad alot (he had to work at his new job and couldn't make this trip) and by the end of the week we were all ready to come home and see him.
